THANKSGIVING FAMILY PHOTOS

After Thanksgiving dinner was over and the rain stopped we all went to take some family pictures. Do you know how hard it is to get this many people (kids) to all look in the same direction let alone smile?? They actually turned out pretty good but we had to do like 100 shots to get a couple good ones. Darci's are in black, Lori and Tim in red, Joe and I in the lavendar, Trent's in blues and grandma (my mom) in brown. Click on pictures for larger view.

The Andretti Four

The grandkids, minus Brittan, drove around in the car in the backyard. I stuck baby Boarder in the car and got this photo of them. Flash, Kyan, driver Marlee and baby Boarder. They love this car that papa and I got at a neighbors yardsale for $40.00 some time ago but now they have grown into it. One of our best buys!!!

Endurocross Track at the Orleans

This is the track that Trent raced on. He ended up getting 4th place in the veterans (35 and older). Good job Trent! If you click on the photo you can see the track in detail.

Our 3 Babies!

Darci and West came to town for a motorcycle race that Trent was in at the Orleans arena. It was the Endurocross which is trecherous with logs, water, huge tires on end and gigantic boulders to go over. While we were there Trent came up in the stands and I got to take a picture of our 3 babies together. It turned out good of all of them.

Wow, I'm a blogger!!

OK, so Darci is helping me make a blog site. I doubt that she can teach me how to post these things on my own in the short time she is here visiting but I will give it a try. I won't be posting every other day like the young ones do because if I did it would say this is Joe and I taking a nap, this is Joe and I eating and be real boring but maybe once a month or so I can muster up some new pictures. I am willing to give it a whirl so here goes!! I am starting with the best picture I could find of me. Well, at least Joe looks good. E-mail me if you want to know my beauty secrets! I will gladly share them at no cost! At Halloween we went to Lori's school (she teaches 2nd grade) Harvest Festival and helped her at her two booths. I was actually scaring the kids away from the booths and Lori asked me to go away but it got better as they got used to me. Some of them would just drop thier tickets on the grass rather than have to hand them to me. It was funny. We made a bean bag toss booth that was actually the most popular of the two. The other was a spider toss that Lori used last year but she wanted to earn more money for her class and so we did the haunted house bean bag toss. She cleared $420.00 so she did well.

Then Joe and I decorated our truck for Trunk or Treat this year. It is the first time we have attempted to do it and probably the last. It was very time consuming but turned out really good and I had fun. I think a lot more than Joe did! He did all the lighting things and I did the decorating. We actually took 1st place out of the 4 wards involved and we won a $50.00 gift card to a reataurant on the strip which we need to use. These pictures don't do it justice as the black light, strobe lights and other lighting can't be seen plus all the sound effects that we had also.
